Ideal City Centre Retreat
fantastic location thoughtful touch quick response
The location was indeed fantastic, placing me right in the heart of things. I found the welcome basket a very thoughtful touch. It had some snacks and drinks (perfect after a long journey!). The host's quick responses to my queries really stood out. It.
The stairs were the only access point. It was not ideal after a tiring day of exploring. It posed a challenge with luggage, which I was not aware of until arrival.

The hotel has a seating area just outside the rooms. This offers a comfortable spot to relax. There is convenient access to amenities, perfect if you need anything quickly, and it includes Netflix.

The room décor looked modern and very cute (I loved the style!). The room was spotlessly nice and neat with a glorious bed. I had everything needed for a short stay.

There is a great restaurant just underneath the apartments. The restaurant belongs to the apartments, so access is easy. I found the food and cocktails really good, and the staff are splendid.

nightclub noise broken remote
the room was clean, i guess. the host did reply quick.
the noise was awful. it sounded like a nightclub right outside my window until 3am. drunks screamed all night. the tv remote barely worked making netflix useless.

The room offered a mini fridge, very useful. I also appreciated the availability of books and board games for relaxation. The location allowed easy access to town!

low shower head weak tv signal
the shower head was too low. i'm not that tall, but i had to crouch a bit to get under it. the tv signal was weak. watching anything was difficult because it pixelated constantly.

mixed feelings after my stay
noisy street unresponsive remote
The street outside was really noisy. It sounded like a party went on until late. i also found the tv difficult to use, the remote felt cheap and unresponsive. navigating netflix was a challenge, even after getting help with a replacement. this made relaxing in the room a bit frustrating.

welcome basket nice touch poor signal low shower
The location was GREAT, near everything! The room included a welcome basket. That was a NICE touch.
The TV signal was poor. I couldn't watch anything. The shower was too low for someone above 5ft11.
